TRIP DESCRIPTION

For the first time ever, Cincideutsch is organizing an international trip, and you're invited! Embark on a scenic adventure through Germany, beginning with a biking tour along the breathtaking Mosel River from September 21-24, 2025. Ride through picturesque vineyards, historic villages, and experience the charm of the German countryside as we cycle along this legendary route.

After working up an appetite, get ready for the main event—Oktoberfest in Munich! On September 25, we’ll immerse ourselves in the world’s most famous beer festival. Enjoy traditional Bavarian food, raise a stein with fellow festival-goers, and soak in the vibrant atmosphere of this iconic celebration.

But that’s not all! On September 26, we’ll explore Munich’s rich history and stunning architecture on a guided sightseeing tour. From the grandeur of Marienplatz to the historic landmarks scattered throughout the city, this tour will give you a deeper appreciation of Munich’s cultural heritage.

We’ll cap off this exciting journey with some free time in the city before heading back to Cincinnati on September 27, bringing home memories that will last a lifetime.

REGISTRATION:

Registration will be open from October 5 to October 24, allowing us to secure Oktoberfest accommodations in Munich.

DEPOSIT:

A $150 deposit, due by October 24, 2024 (the registration deadline), secures your spot at the Cincideutsch Oktoberfest table. For participants who do not need lodging or are not joining the Bike Tour, a $50 deposit is required.

PACKAGE OPTIONS:

Package 1 ($50 Deposit): Oktoberfest Only: Select this option if you want to join the Cincideutsch Oktoberfest table but either live in Munich or have your own accommodation in Germany.

PAY PACKAGE 1 DEPOSIT HERE

Package 2 ($150 Deposit): Oktoberfest & Munich Hotel: Choose this option if you want to join the Cincideutsch Oktoberfest table and need hotel accommodation in Munich. You will be responsible for paying your own hotel costs, minus the deposit. The deposit is used to secure your reservation within the Cincideutsch hotel block, as availability during Oktoberfest is limited.

PAY PACKAGE 2 DEPOSIT HERE

Package 3 ($150 Deposit): Oktoberfest, Munich Hotel, & Moselle River Bike Tour: Select this option if you want to participate in the Moselle River Bike Tour, join the Cincideutsch Oktoberfest table, and require hotel accommodation in Munich. You will be responsible for covering your own hotel costs, minus the deposit, which will be used to secure your spot within the Cincideutsch hotel block, as hotel availability during Oktoberfest is limited.

FLIGHTS:

You will need to arrange your own flights, as some participants may choose to arrive early or extend their stay.

HOTEL RESERVATIONS:

Hotel reservations for the bike trip are included in the tour package. The Munich hotel reservations will be made once registration closes and we know the number of participants for the Munich segment.

Bike Part:

Sept 21: Arrival in Trier

Sept 22: Trier - Trittenheim, 25-28 miles

Sept 23: Trittenheim - Zell, 37-40 miles

Sept 24: Zell - Cochem, 25 miles

Sept 25: Train Cochem to Munich & Hotel Check-In

Munich Part:

Sept 25: Oktoberfest Munich

Sept 26: Munich sightseeing

Sept 26: Departure

TRIP CONTINGENCY:

This trip will proceed only if at least 5 people sign up. If fewer than 5 participants register by the deadline, your deposit will be fully refunded, and the trip will be canceled.

Note for Peter's Birthday Participants:

If you're attending Peter's birthday celebration, please still register here, as reservations will be made separately. Peter's birthday celebration will take place on Thursday during the lunchtime reservation, while the Cincideutsch table reservation will be in the evening.
