Liebe Cincideutsch Mitglieder,

We hope you have had a "guten Rutsch" into the new year and are excited about the fun activities 2026 will provide to our group. Our Stammtisch every Monday at Kantine has continued to be a fun time to speak German and enjoy the Gemütlichkeit of good food, good drink and good company. We had lots of new members join us in 2025 as well as great times with old friends, and are looking forward to what 2026 will bring! Please read the following items to learn about our 15th anniversary party, changes to our WhatsApp group, and other upcoming events.

Cincideutsch Anniversary Party - February 9th

Cincideutsch wird 15! Cincideutsch is turning 15! Mark your calendars for February 9th, 2026, as we celebrate fifteen incredible years of making friends and speaking German!

Event Details

• Date: February 9th, 2026

• Time: 6:30 PM

• Location: Kantine Biergarten Wine Bar & Eatery - 1220 Harrison Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45214

What to Expect

• Heavy Appetizers / Charcuterie provided

• A Short Presentation about the past, present and future of Cincideutsch

• Fun times to reminisce with old friends and makes some new ones!

Changes Coming on WhatsApp

In order to better serve our community and make sure everyone is getting the info they want and important posts are easy to find, we are changing the WhatsApp group to a community. The difference is that the community allows us to have an announcements group and then a few subgroups that you can choose whether to participate in or not. It is all about letting you choose what to receive and how you want to communicate with Cincideutsch. The new community will have the following groups:

Announcements - only official Cincideutsch updates and announcements - all current WhatsApp members will get these announcements

Cincideutsch Events und Community - All current members will automatically be in this group. Similar to our old group, this is the place to discuss events, plan meeting points, ask questions and talk about anything that has to do with our community.  Official Chat Language: German (don’t worry if it’s not perfect!)

Cincideutsch Online Stammtisch - Join this group if you are interested!

The group that is always there for us! Use this group to improve your German or just to chat in German.  Native and advanced speakers can discuss various topics and learners can ask questions about the German language, give tips, or share resources.
