CINCIDEUTSCH LEADERSHIP ELECTIONS:
Im April 2019 wurden die Wahlen zum Vorstand von Cincideutsch abgehalten. Die Ergebnisse sind wie folgt: In April 2019, Cincideutsch held its first official leadership elections. The results were as following:
CINCIDEUTSCH IN THE NEWS / CINCIDEUTSCH IN DEN NACHRICHTEN:
On April 24, Cincideutsch received a $1000 grant from the Northern Kentucky Mayerson Student Philanthropy Project. Cincideutsch wants to thank the German 202 NKU student group consisting of Blake Gibson, Adam Wiley, Gabrielle Powell, Tyler Forrest, Eponine Leprelle, and taught by Dr. Andrea Fieler of World Languages and Literatures at NKU. The German 202 student group was extremely dedicated and worked very hard on getting this Mayerson grant for Cincideutsch. Many thanks! THE 2019 CINCIDEUTSCH SCHOLARSHIP/ DAS CINCIDEUTSCH STIPENDIUM 2019:
Die Cincideutsch-Stipendien 2019 gehen an Maddy Shilts und John Flesch. Maddie ist Deutsch-Studentin an Miami University, John studiert Deutsch an Northern Kentucky University. Im Sommer 2019 hat Maddie am Intensiv-Sommerprogramm teilgenommen, das die Studenten unter Leitung von Dr. John Jeep nach Heidelberg, Jena, Dessau und Berlin führte, wo sie in sechs Wochen einen Intensivkurs Deutsch absolvierten. Auch John hat mit dem Stipendium einen Teil seines Auslandsaufenthalts finanziert, bei dem er sich in Zusammenarbeit mit Dr. Salzmann mit dem Thema "ziviles Engagement in Deutschland" beschäftigt. Herzlichen Glückwunsch an Maddie und John!
The Cincideutsch Scholarships 2019 go to Maddy Shilts and John Flesch. Maddie is a student of German at Miami University, John studies German at Northern Kentucky University. In Summer 2019, Maddie participated in the Intensive German Summer Program. Lead by Dr. John Jeep, the program took the students to Heidelberg, Jena, Dessau, and Berlin, where they completed a German intensive language course in six weeks. John also partially funded his trip to Germany with the scholarship. Collaborating with Dr. Salzman, he observed civil engagement while abroad. Congratulations to Maddie and John!
